What information we collect
Information you provide directly. When you use our compliance checker, contact form, or newsletter signup, we collect the information you submit. This may include your name, email address, phone number (if provided), company name, building address or BBL, and any message you share. We also record the compliance results generated for buildings you look up, so we can provide accurate follow-up if you contact us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our hosting provider may log standard request information such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This is used for security and performance monitoring.
We do not currently use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
How we use information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your inquiries and deliver the compliance information you requested
- Follow up about survey, consulting, or compliance services
- Send you NYC compliance updates if you have explicitly subscribed to our newsletter
- Improve our tools and website based on aggregate usage patterns
- Comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Service providers we use
We rely on trusted third-party services to operate our website and tools. These providers act as data processors and are bound by their own privacy policies:
- Supabase — database infrastructure where lead submissions are stored
- Resend — email delivery for contact form responses and notifications
- Address autocomplete provider — when you type in the address field on our compliance checker, partial address queries are sent to our mapping data provider for lookup purposes
- Vercel — website hosting and request logging

These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based database access controls, secure API key management, and row-level security policies restricting data access to authorized personnel only.
In accordance with the New York SHIELD Act, we maintain a data security program appropriate to our size and the nature of the information we handle.
We retain lead information for as long as it is relevant to our business relationship with you, or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing info@luxnetcontrols.com.
