// About

Field data your team can actually act on.

LuxNet was founded to solve a specific problem: NYC building owners need accurate, field-verified lighting data to make compliance and capital planning decisions — and most don't have it.

// Our story

Modern tools for a specific problem.

LuxNet grew out of more than a decade of hands-on work in NYC commercial lighting — walking buildings, counting fixtures, cataloguing controls, and producing the reports owners need to file compliance paperwork and plan capital projects.

The problem we kept running into wasn't the survey work itself. It was everything after: spreadsheets that lost track of which room a fixture lived in, photos stranded on phones, reports rebuilt from scratch every time a building added a floor or changed management.

So we built a platform that connects field survey teams with a modern data pipeline. Information captured on-site flows directly into professional reports, energy models, and compliance documentation — no re-keying, no lost context.

The result: faster turnaround, higher data quality, and reports your engineering team can actually use.

// What makes us different

A field-first company with a software backbone.

Technology-Driven Surveys

Our surveyors use purpose-built mobile tools that capture structured data — not clipboards and spreadsheets. Every fixture, control, and photo is logged offline, geo-tagged to a specific area, and linked to the building record.

NYC Compliance Expertise

Local Law 88, 132, 134, and 97 — we track the regulatory landscape so you don't have to. Our reports are built to meet DOB filing requirements and to hold up under engineering review.

Actionable Deliverables

Our reports don't just document what exists. They model what's possible — with energy projections, savings estimates, and retrofit recommendations based on real field data, not desktop assumptions.

// The team

A small, focused team.

LuxNet is run by a tight group of surveyors, engineers, and software builders with deep experience in the NYC lighting compliance landscape. When you hire us, the people doing the walk-through are the same people writing the report.

That keeps the feedback loop short: edge cases get surfaced early, the field team shapes how the platform captures data, and nothing gets lost in a hand-off between departments.

// Market focus

NYC and Long Island.

We focus on the five boroughs and the Long Island metropolitan area — the buildings we know best, the compliance rules we've lived with for years, and the logistics we can actually staff reliably.

From Class A office towers to mixed-use residential, parking structures, and multi-building portfolios — if your asset is in the NYC metro region, we've probably surveyed one just like it.

Let's talk about your building.
