SRP pays for networked controls.
SRP's business program pays for every watt a networked system controls. Send an address and we'll come back with the rate and your estimate.

Why it adds up here.
SRP pays for networked lighting controls by the watt controlled, in existing buildings and new ones. The bigger the fixtures on the system, the more it pays.
- SRP approves retrofit lighting and controls before you buy.
- Funding is first come, first served, and SRP keeps a waitlist when it runs out.
- The rebate goes to you, or to an SRP trade ally if you assign it.
- On APS? Its business rebates for existing buildings are on a waitlist right now. TEP pays for sensors and daylight controls, and looks at networked systems as custom projects.
Upgrading lighting anyway?
Arizona has no statewide energy code. Each city sets its own, and the biggest ones moved to the 2024 IECC: Phoenix in August 2025, Chandler in July 2025, Glendale in January 2026 and Tucson in July 2026. Scottsdale is on the 2021 IECC plus its green building code.
The 2024 IECC calls for occupancy sensors in offices and other listed rooms, shutoff on a schedule everywhere else, dimming, and daylight controls near windows. Phoenix made functional testing optional and Tucson took it out. In Chandler and Glendale the code still calls for the controls to be tested before final inspection.

No building energy laws to track.
As of October 2026, Arizona law bars cities and counties from requiring energy benchmarking or audits. Here the reasons to upgrade are the incentive, your city's code on new work and the lower bill.
Your building can be anywhere in the US.
We design remotely and ship the kit set up and labeled by room. A local electrician installs it, and we test on site or remotely.
Questions owners ask.
Is my building in SRP territory?
Check who sends your electric bill. If it's SRP, its program applies. If it's APS or TEP, we check what they offer from the address.
Which code applies to my building?
Your city's. Phoenix, Tucson, Chandler and Glendale enforce the 2024 IECC, Scottsdale the 2021 IECC, and Flagstaff the 2018 IECC. Unincorporated Maricopa County has no mandatory energy code.
Does my city require energy benchmarking?
No. Arizona law bars cities and counties from requiring energy benchmarking or audits.
Will these programs last?
In July 2026 the Arizona Corporation Commission repealed its energy-efficiency rules. Programs it already approved continue, and new ones get reviewed one at a time. SRP's current program year runs through April 30, 2027.
